....... how about checking out an inspiring article about a really admirable crappie fisher that I'm sure we all hope we could equal in longevity and vitality in doing something we are so familiar with and enjoy doing so much.
He’s 93, but he’s not ready to hang up his fishing rod yet - KansasCity.com

Thanks for sharing that Lee.

It was a good story.
Lee that has to give you hope for at least 5 more years of fishing before you're that old....something to look forward to
FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!
Last year at the #3 ramp at Clinton Mr. Pew was also done for the day. He is quite a gentlemen, told me how many days he had got his limit in a row--it was huge. I thing he told me that he froze the minnows that he did not use and used them later and they caught fish. I hope I able to be fishing at his age, or just to be alive.
There is a guy name of Ralph that fishes at the Melvern Marina a lot, he is over one hundred, he does not set much but stands and works a jig, catches fish also. I hope I am going at that age.
I sometimes fish with a guy that is 85, smokes like a chimney, and is in better health than I am. Got his first boat when his wife died in 2010 since she would never let him have one. He makes a killer breakfast in the duck blind as well.
