I use a inverter hooked up to a 12v battery i have a cheap plastic table with folding legs, fillet at the lake most of the time. Wish kdwpt would install decent cleaning stations at all lakes. Sebilieus has a great cleaning station.

It would be nice if they opened the fish cleaning stations. The one at Glen is still closed from the winter season. Wasn't happy Tuesday when I found out I had to take them home and clean them. I checked it yesterday before I put the boat in and it still wasn't open. So yesterday was catch and release day.
James, I tried that to but I alway forget there in the freeze and they stay there for ever...
I sent you a pm yesterday but not sure it went thru.
Anyway, Hillsdale has a cleaning station at the Marina inside the fishing house. They only charge a small fee to use it. And ask that you leave it clean when you are done.
Looks like I don't have my settings right to get a email when I'm PM'd.
Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely make use of that cleaning station from time to time.
However, I'm still unclear on one point. Is it okay/legal to throw the remains back in the lake from game warden's perspective?
It is in Kansas. I have asked the Ranger at Hillsdale and he said to just throw them back because thats where they came from. At the Marina's fish cleaning station they also tell you to throw them in the lake.
talked to ranger at hillsdale. he said the plans are in the way to build 2 of them. at jayhawk boat ramp and marysville ramp. supposidly realy nice stations.:highfive
Yes it is perfectly legal and actually beneficial to throw the remains back into the water in Kansas. Actually when you find a dock with a cleaning station you can catch a boat load of channel cat towards the end of May/first of June if you fish around the docks with the cleaning stations! :cheers2
