Been thinkingabout this several times,,, mostly later
in the year. I would like to see
what you are catching. So here a place to start. To 'OWN' the record
you must be fishing public waters. A picture
will be a MUST, showing lenght. Weigh it??,, there might be
a + or - here. Any other details optional. What do you think? <*)}}}><

That'sright. You own the record till someone beats
it. I should of CPR(catch-photograph-release) one of those 6inchers I caught today. I would own the
record!!!

I would be good with a picture showing the fish & one showing the weight of the fish with it hooked to a scale.
A true record of course would have to be certified. But just for us what I suggested would be fine for me....honor system and all.........but this is just me as I like things simple.
I plan on releasing mine as well......into a lake of hot oil![]()
Sounds like fun only problem will be catching something.
I like it! Sounds like a fun ideaMight have had a shot at the first record for Hillsdale but the ramps were all iced in. I must have missed that in the ice reports

LIFE’S TOO SHORT TO FISH WITHOUT BEER
Is this open to just folks fishin' in Kansas?

Chatt,
I think you would be asking for problems by including 'a weight'. Too many scales produce too many varying measurements. Everyone would need to use the SAME scale or a CERTIFIED scale otherwise the reported weights wouldn't be comparable. I've seen way too many "2 lb, 11-inch crappie" to have much faith in those rusted ol' deliars in the bottom of the tackle box!
Well there went my shot. Thanks Craig![]()
