Don't know if this counts since I didn't get a picture on the board but I got this 13.5 incher from Lake Wabaunsee on Thursday off the dock right next to the ramp. She hit a 3/8oz firetiger colored home made chatterbait I was casting for bass.

can you post a picture of that home made chatter bait? i would love to see it. ill count the fish.
This is one I poured and tied last summer. It's tied on a 3/8oz football head with a 4/0 hook. The tip of the blade isn't bent down yet which it has to be to get the right vibration.Quote:

This is the exact bait that crappie ate. Tied on a 5/16oz ballhead jig. You can kind of see how the end of the blade is bent down in this picture.
