Default Day Late and $100000000 Short

Went out to El Dorado lake last night to find where the crappie were as no one was catching anything but little ones. Fished the channel and found the small ones like everyone said. Moved to the brush and caught more small ones. Went to a location where I put in some trees two years ago and found the big ones. Caught several nice fish and then it came.... The Cabelas Fish for Millions tag on a 14.5 inch crappie. I was so happy I packed up my gear and headed home to punch the number into their web sight. To my surprise, the contest ended last week. WTF.... banghead banghead banghead Well I can say I know what they look like and that I have one now but thats all. Willing to sell to someone for one dollar. Rofl Anyways, I know where some nice crappie are hiding out and thats my luck!!

That sucks, but glad to here you found a couple good ones. I registered for that when it started, but had totally forgot about those tags. I'm sure my memory would of been jogged if I've seen a tag hanging out of a fish.
Does any one know if Cabela's has published the results of what fish were caught and how much people have won?

It's still good, lightly breaded and flash fried. It's still a fish of a lifetime, just frame the picture. Oh, the wonders, Priceless!
All lakes raise a foot when I step in the boat

Darn, what a shame. I saw that it ended on the 8th I beleive. Definitely would've probably been a fish of a lifetime that's for sure. I didn't think of them tagging a Crappie, I figured it would've been a Walleye, unless a Walleye was tagged as well? Anyways, definitely a nice catch and one for the photo books.
