I went to Pomona this afternoon and fought the pleasure boaters as well as a few fishing boats. We ended up with 58 keepers fishing brush piles in about 20 feet of water. The biggest was 14 and the smallest we kept was 11. We threw back a truck load of little ones 5-8 inches long. Had a great time and caught some awesome fish!
The last few times we have been to Pomona we have loaded up on the big ones. We will be sticking with Pomona instead of driving the extra 20 miles to Melvern!

I was at Melvern yesterday fishing and fighting with stupid people driving too close to your boat or one guy pulls within 20 ft of my boat and anchors on the brush pile we were casting to. We were casting to the pile and bringing it over the top were he wanted to vertical jig the pile. After I bounced my crankbait next to his boat about 30 times he got the hint and moved on. Over all we caught about 10 nice crappie 3 keeper walleye and a ton of whits bass. Most on crankbaits and all less than 8 ft of water. 3 crappie we cleaned still had eggs in it.

I have been chasing the walleye using jig and worm might have to break out some crankbaits sounds like they are working better than the jigs.

Wish I had a report to give.

Took the family to the KS Cosmosphere in Hutch this weekend. Very interesting and educational, but unfortunately no fishing for me.

    Probably won't wet a line before Friday...banghead
I am just pullin' your leg.:D
