I went to HD with a buddy this morning. We got there about 0730 and fished until about 1230. We found a few in about 22-25 FOW over brush piles, suspended at about 12 feet. It was a little slow so we went to hillsdale point to troll for walleye, only caught one white bass. Went back to the same brush piles and caught a couple little ones. Jigs weren't catching much so I tried a minnow, didn't do that well either until I pitched it up next to a stump and let it fall down the front of it. Caught a nice 12" male (very dark), and proceeded to catch 2-3 fish at every tree we came to for about an hour after that. Kept 8, and probably caught 30-40. Most of the fish we caught dipping trees were in 20-25 FOW, suspended in no more than 10 FOW. Not a bad morning. Oh yea, the 2 females we kept still had their eggs but the sacs were still intact.
