Hillsdale 5/14/12

Went hillsdale last night at 7pm and fish by the dam. Only got a couple big drums. then the sun went down, I throw in my home made green led light into the water and magic happened, well kind of. there are alot of big carppies start to gather arround the boat. We put in the jig and got the crappie immidialy. about 12" we got about 4 of them and all of a suddened the lake temp drop it feel like 50s, they stop biting. Completly stop, I use all different color of the jig i have and still no bite. So the rest of the night we just sit by and watch big carppies and white bass swimming arround and eat minnows. I was thinking if only i have the live minnows............ we try until 11pm. nothing and we left.....
