Went out this evening on the dam at clinton with the hopes of picking up a walleye between rain showers around 5:30. Fished for about 45 minutes and finally picked up a 10.5" crappie. Buddy of mine got there about 6:30 and he must of woke up the fish. We caught a couple more crappie about 30 feet out letting it sink to the bottom. Switched over to tandem jigs with blue and white tubes. Caught about 8-9 more keepers within 20 minutes and they shut off. In between all of this my buddy caught a nice bonus 18" male walleye out about the same depth. Then the sideways rain came and decided that was enough. Can't wait to get out tomorrow after work. Eggs in the crappie were very firm.Name: Clinton 3-21-12A.jpg
