Hit the water at 0730. Wind out of SouthWest not to strong around 5 to 10. Checked area East of Arrowrock BR on South bank. Did not scope any fish on piles or drop offs. Hunted down the lake Scoped Rose Garden no fish, Hit the pile just off Coer D lane scoped some fish, threw a bouy and tried to fish caught one keep about 12 inchs and onedink, wind came up and blew us off. Went up to the Silo area hit piles and drop off there saw fish suspended at 14 feet but they did not seem very hungry caught a few dinks and one more 12incher wind kept getting stronger decided to call it a day at 1030. That's all folks.

Looking at the forecast it won't be long now for them crappie to be holding in them shallow back coves and when in route to them back coves troll in 8ft of water along the spawning banks to catch them staging fish.
Something I've noticed each year is most fair weather and novice fisherman usually miss them big hogs spawning. Most people are thinking it's too cold yet, while some experienced fisherman are out slamming them on the banks with 12 ft poles in 2 ft of water. From my experience, the big ones spawn 1st and the dinks follow. By the time the average Joe gets there, they clean up on the barely 10" fish and through a bunch of shorts back. Maybe I have said too much already.
