You do not have to go that way to get to Turkey Point. You can get there from the west and there are no gravel roads. If you go straight south of Osage City you will go probably 6-7 miles to the first curve to the west and you will turn east right there and go about 3 miles east. You will then turn south to go to the park.
You can also get to it from the south if you are on I-35. Get off at Lebo and go north until you hit the stop sign. (Probably 7 miles or so) Turn east at the stop sign and go about 2 miles until the road curves north. Turn east at that curve and go about 3 miles east and then turn south to go to the park.
There are signs at each turning point.

I'll be coming down with a buddy. We should be there Friday before noon. I do have a canopy (13 x 13 I think) if it's needed. I'll be camping next to Ron Meeder in my 24 ft Winnebago (the Rolling Mancave) pulling the BassTanic II (1988 Tracker Bass boat). It'll be good to put faces to all the posts I've read on here over the past few years.

Just got off the phone with Ron and he says his site is 45. Probably won't be any fish left in the lake for me to catch by the time I get down there.
