    Default Glen produces again

OK, I've got some serious puter problems and have been using someone else's to stay up on messages. This ones late, but well worth it. Friday, we hit the piles at Glen, and we weren't alone either. We would work around and find one loaded up and it was up & down. Then a few of the other boats would begin to get "friendly", so we would slide over to where they were and continue. About NOON, it was time to go West, we went up river fishing the old stumps and had a very good day there also. In the end, the final toll was 67 crappie between 12"-15" with 13"+ being avg.. We did have a lot of throw backs and normally we don't keep many fish from there, but my partner had a fry to supply and I was happy to help. We ran out of boats going West and enjoyed the afternoon pretty much by ourselves. Had some bonus fish as well. Everything on plastic and couldn't buy a bite on minnows. Thumbs Up

OK, OK, I'll try Dan, but Clinton has become like a long lost friend. You know the crappie fishing is really good there also. Clinton does compare in many areas to Glen with one exception, at Clinton I feel like a dog with all those trees. It's a great fishery! There's some others tween here and there too. Gonna have to stop and fish da Goon, and I need to fish Melvern. We just have so many lakes here in Ks a guy doesn't have to go far to be in fish, gotta love it!! I sure hope everyone helps out this weekend at huntncapn's tourny, sounds like a good cause and well worth it. I know someone else who hung around fisherman for their stories too!!

CLinton is my favorite lake by far now, and yes it always has good fish, but a long time ago I HATED that lake, HATED the trees! Now, I too feel like a dog when on the water, the trees are like magnets now!
