Morels

3 miles the last two days nada. If you believe the old wives tale of "When the red buds bloom and the leaves on the hedge trees are the size of a squirrel's ear then we are far too late, but I would be glad to be proven wrong.

They are already finding them in MN.

Looked yesterday for three hours no luck at all.

Nothing again today for me. Ill look for a couple more days then just think about next year.

A work friend showed me pictures of some morels as big as a beer can he found yesterday along the shore of Winfield lake. I know the were that big because he took the pictures with a beer can beside a few of them. He said he found a dozen or so total.

Alot of my usual spots are now under water.
