Below Olathe Lake dam

I'm sure some of you have seen them already, but I snagged this below the Olathe Lake dam this morning fishing for wipers.


There's no ANS sign posted but there were a ton more in there so if anyone catches bait/keeps fish from below the dam, take the necessary precautions.

I think most guys fish for catfish and carp down there but anything that swims in the lake can be caught down there, I've even caught a couple saugeye. Mostly it's loaded with bluegills and sunfish though but when the water starts running it will turn the wipers and whites on if there's any in the pool at that time.

They ruin every water they enter. Ruined most of my local go to spots that I've fished my whole life.
