7/19 Coffey County

Hit it right off the bat. Found lots of bait fish but couldn't catch anything. Lost my only jigging spoon to a snag early on. Ended up going to my usual standby spot to catch smallies and bluegill. Gatehouse said its been slow. Folks that left just ahead of me didn't catch much. Saw a small stringer of channel cats from the shore fishing area. It was a beautiful morning to be fishing.
