Do you guys think with the nice weather we are having there is a possibility of any of the ramps being open anywhere in the state enough to back my boat in and give it a test? Looked on the ice reports and haven't seen anything lately. Probably because it is all iced up.

i never like using muffs to run my motor out of the water.. so i always use a plastic garbage can (45-50) gallon that has no holes... tilt motor up.. slide can on bottom of motor.. tilt motor down.. fill with water and run it once it goes over the water intakes... you can even put it in gear a little.. (dont give it to much gas)... also make sure you keep your water running from the hose filling up the trashcan.
