    Default Colorado Slabs on ICE!!

I got off work early on Thursday and made a mad dash for my crappie spot at Boyd Lake! Only had about 15 minutes before darkness set in but I managed 2 slabs and 3 white bass! All still swimming... Next 3 days off so I'm going to be hitting several lakes in search of slabs!

What kind of rod and line do you use? I'm jealous, good luck and be safe.

How do you choose where on the lake to fish?

The rod is a "Tuned Up Custom" brand 32" noodle rod and I'm using Berkley 3lb fluoro ice line. A #12 Lindy Tungsten Toad with a wax worm.

Your killing me with his ice fishing your doing! I'm jealous, thought I would get to go yesterday and the best ice we found was about 3" and had thawed for two days and refroze. I think I'm about to wear my icefishing gear out changing line, charging batteries, rigging poles and then rigging them again. And no ice fishable! Keep the pictures coming, if I can't get on the ice I can see your successful outings.
