It's finally squirrel season.

With the cool temps. last week I couldn't stand it any longer and had to throw a dog in the timber. My older dog(2+) treed 7 times and I got 3 down, real happy considering the leaf cover. My pup got his first tree this morning, then 10 minutes later ran a deer out of the country......he's a trashy rascal(tritronics has the answer). Love running the dogs on squirrel and may give them a shot on coon. Company is always welcome, if ya don't mind covering some ground.

Put some fur in the pup's mouth this morning, he treed up with the older dog and after 10 minutes of looking I finally found the rat. Dog's treed up 4 times but could only find the squirrel once, between holes and leaves it's a wonder I find any. No deer today, but was ready........added a second collar to the Garmin Alpha, GPS is awesome.

Water at the Coon creek ramp was HEAVILY stained, good luck to those fishing this weekend. Hope to join you all for some tournaments next year, could be switching shifts and have weekends off.
