Am sure most of you already know of this since we are all fishermen here just surprises me in general to see things like this when I go to the lake. Just curious if it is being consistant throughout the state. What are people seeing out there that fish other lakes that have allot of COE ground on them? I know this is a nationwide thing but is everything being shut down everywhere in the same way? Are your boat ramps accessable?

I got out and checked Wilson and Kanop, same thing as your post. Technically, it's not theirs, it's "We the Peoples", bought and paid for with more than tax dollars. I could go on a rant, but, I'd just be preaching to the choir. It's Our country, not any legislators or gov't office. It's time to step up to the plate.

Had the option of fishing Melvern or Coffey County Wednesday. Didn't want to have to drive clear to Eisenhower so I chose Coffey County. I live 2 blocks from Flint Hills NWR and it is all shut down as well.

Went to Marion this last Wednesday and one of the campgrounds and boat ramps were closed, but the rest were open. Not sure why only one was closed but I was glad the rest were open.

Clinton Lake State Parks and ramps are open but Bloomington may be closed since it is a COE location. Truman ramps and campgrounds are closed so you have to use some of the old country road ramps if you know where they are at, and parking is very limited at those so get there early.
What could happen to you if you moved the barricade and drove into a closed ramp? Are they being patrolled and by who?

They put up barriers at Old Town, on Perry, on Wednesday. But, they were gone yesterday. Go figure.

Law Enforcement is considered essential and still working although not getting paid. Around here they will set IR trail cameras up on the barricades.

Maybe they are now somewhere at old town as bottom structure, for more fish habitat. So is it open for use or not?

Since Im a renegade anyway, I am using corps ramps whenever needed. Mr. Government, you sold me a product (yearly pass). At the time of purchase you gave me no warning that you could recind that pass for any reason, so unless your intent is to repay me for lost time then I will hold you to the contract. End of story
