Default Milford Walleye Tournament on Sat and Sun

Great weekend for a walleye tournament on Milford. Kansas winds equals big waves. Craig and I locked in 13th place on Saturday with 19+ pounds. Sunday we caught our biggest two fish at 2 and took 3rd with almost 22lbs. I guess the winds don't bother you when you cash a check.. Biggest fish on both days were over 7 lbs. We didn't have one that big. North part of the lake caught most of the fish.....

Nice job Shane! Didn't get to fish last weekend, worked overtime again, but weekend before was a very good weekend for them too. Had a five fish limit on Friday just short of 18lbs. Got on em again Sat morn with the wife aboard and managed eight more before getting blown off by 1:00. Will be back on them this coming weekend. Not planning to work the weekends till the end of July so long as them toothy critters are still biting!!!

Congrats, JJ sent me a picture of that 7 lber he boated to win. Sounds like it's going to be a close finish this year. Going to try and make it to the Melvern weigh-in here in a few weeks. Good job.
It's not duck season so I have to do something... :D

Pretty nice weekend although parts of it were a bit WINDY!!

Had a good time chasing those wallies on a beautiful lake! Need to get back and fish it for fun sometime.

Congrats again to both of you. It was a great time and I'm ready to head back and fish it for fun as well. I hadn't fished Milford in quite a few years with a boat so it was great to see everything again and catch some fish. Looking forward to trying Melvern in two weeks as I've never fished that lake besides fishing the marina docks. Should be an interesting one for sure.

I thought that was you guys but didn't want to bother you... you looked pretty intense after those walters with all of the wipers busting on top around you!

I thought that that was probably you also DroptineJoe. You had me hypnotized watching your topwater baits walking through the wiper explosions. It was tough not to pitch a bait out there for a wiper or two but I figured Shane would have made me swim for it if I did.

It looked like you were doing very well on fish from your boat. Like Shane said, thanks for sharing the water with us!! Hopefully we can run in to you again sometime when things are a bit less 'stressful'!!
