Melvern in the morning

Going to try Melvern for some eyes in am, winds forecast to be light hoping for best. I hope not to light.

Do any good? I've never tried targeting walleye at Melvern but I catch them fishing for smallmouth fairly often, especially in spring fishing with jerkbaits. My old man loves fishing for walleye and I hate fishing Hillsdale so Melvern would be a more appealing option for 'eyes.

Did not Catch a fish Monday, Hit it today more wind more fish, still not many boated about 6 eyes one keeper, 10 big crappie bit on the worms and jig rig.
