    Default Fort Riley Kids Fishing Derby

    Wow, Fort Riley put on a fun fishing derby this morning. Fort Riley, 1-70 Bass Club (I think), and Kansas Wildlife Dept had rods, reels, worms, hot dogs, displays, and a bunch of prizes. Really well done! We went for pure poundage today and fished on the bottom of Moon Lake. 10 cats in about 1.5 hours. Thanks to everyone who put it on! There seemed to be hundreds of kids having a ball.
