Default Anyone know a body man to repair hull of boat?

2003 Ranger glass with a deep V, noticed the bottom of V had a wore out spot about a foot long on it and a quarter inch wide. Any referrals for someone who can repair that would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

Not sure where you are at since you dont list your location but Arnies in Lawrence used to do decent fiberglass repair. Seems there was someone in or around KC that also did fiberglass repair but I cant remember who posted that info in another post. LBM, was it you that posted something in another post about a shop that did fiberglass repair in the KC area?

There was a shop on Merriam drive near Jojnson drive I took my boat too and they did a nice job but I cannot find any information on who did it. They did a lot of corvette fiberglass work also. Southwest marine referred him to me so call around to a couple of boat dealers and see who they take there boats to.

The last time I drove on Merriam Lane (in December when I picked up trolling batteries at Interstate Batteries) the old Southwest Marine was no longer in business there. I'm tending to think they are no longer in business with today's economy but they could have just moved.

Theres a shop up around Smithville ( maybe St. Joe). He's very good. May have to turn it in on your insurance.
