I spent the last 6 days(mornings) ice fishing Loveland Lake in Colorado and had an absolute blast!! Met some new fishing buddies, fished with some friends I made last Winter and slayed the crappie and yellow perch!! I averaged 40-50 crappie, 15-20 yellow perch, and 10-15 bluegills every morning, plus a handful of smallmouth bass with the biggest being 19"!! I also caught my personal best yellow perch, a 12.5" football! Average temp on the ice was a balmy 7 degrees and one morning it was -2. I had a great time ice fishing and can't wait to get home and hit the local ponds!!
