Jig heads for Marabou Jigs....Need Information.

Any of you tie your own marabous? I have a fly tying kit and tie my own flies, but am wanting to tie up some marabous for crappie fishing. I just curious if any of you could share some information about what jig heads you would use for a marabou. I would assume a ball jig head with what size hook?

I prefer a Eagle Claw gold #1 for size, when I mold my own jigs, it hard to find smaller weight jigs with the right size hooks. On the main form there is a section just for tying jigs, lots of good information.
