Cabo

Just got back from a Cabo Vacation with my wife and some friends. We charted a boat for a day in supposedly some of the best offshore fishing waters in the world. Unfortunately we didn't go with a super well known guide to save a few bucks. Had a great time, but could have caught more fish. Right off the bat I hooked into a 15-20lb Dorado. After a 20 minute fight I had it up to the boat and the mate missed the gaff. I have video of the darn thing flopping off at the edge of the boat.

We ended up catching this yellowfin tuna shortly after, then nothing. Just turning into an expensive booze cruise after that.

Hope it was a nice trip anyway. Once I spend that much on vacation what's another 500 to do what I want with a good guide. No Shane you can't raise your rates for me.

Does Shane really specify where he's taking us?...I need to check that contract out! I have a trip still paid for with him. I may just have to have Shane take us down there to Cabo on our trip and go after the big Blue Marlin if it doesn't specify El Dorado! We're going to have to change that back chair out on the Champion to a Fighting Chair!

We did have an awesome time. Always good to get away from the every day grind!
