The catfish where on fire last night!!! Went threw 4 dozen perch in three hours (11pm to 2 am) then ran out of bait. 12 foot down in forty foot of water under little joe 12 inch pole floats. Caught about 40 fish but only kept 3 fish to give to a old man i work with! Biggest fish 15 pounds but lost one that would have went every bit of 25 in the archor rope (just couldnt keep it out of it , hold the flashlight and net at the same time while moving my other line. It was a mess of an evening but well worth it.

Thanks, Thanks a lot! I've had a seed planted recently on catfishing and you went and watered it! I've been wanting some bluecat action, never done it, but the odds of of getting that AMI are pretty good at Milford. Plus, it's been a long time coming playing with the slimers. Nice report! Fishing at night has always been a mess for me. I can get screwed up bad enough in broad daylight let alone total darkness! banghead

Man that sounds like a blast!!.....sounds like a fishin FRENZY.....thanks for the pics. and report. ( are the little joe floats kinda like jug fishin where you just throw them out with bait and watch to see when they go under? and where would a guy buy these?)

the little joe floats are just large bobbers... Kinda the same as crappie fishing with minows but on a larger scale...

They do put up a fight, caught two today crappie fishing on a ten foot pole, just good eating size.

decided to go again Friday night... The bit was a little slower but the fish where a little bigger... Met up with a buddy at 9 and fished till 2am... Caught about 15 each with the smallest one in the 4 pound range. I gave all the fish to my buddy and forgot to weigh them so have no idea what the bigger ones weighed. And the camera batteries went dead on me before we could finish taken pictures but here is a few i got in. Only kept 4 and that was pleanty!
