    Default Milford Today

Was out on Milford most of the day...soon after it stopped raining. The white caps and swells were huge today. The lake progressively got better as the day went. But from about 1030 to 1230 it was very rough. The Lund powered through it, night and day difference between my Champion Bass boat and it was a pretty good rough water boat. The top photo was taken down in one of the swells. Spend quite a bit of time getting deep into coves finding calm or somewhat decent water.

We caught several. I took my older son out and his girlfriend fishing with me today. I have to say I was a little concerned because of how rough it was and his girlfriend. I asked her if she was going to fish and she said yes. I asked her if she she was going to clean the fish when we got back and she said yes..... she never complained once throughout the pounding and waves/water coming over the wind shield and then being out there all day. Handled her own fish too.

    I like her already.........

Her, you, your son, I'm digging you guys too. Tough conditions for sure, felt them all day driving on the highway. I need a thump, BAD! Quitting smoking would be easier than quitting fishing, esp during the spawn. It looks as if you know exactly what I mean. Ya got my respect! Thanks for the report. Tell your son he could be on to something.
All lakes raise a foot when I step in the boat

Way to tough it out KAG...great pics., Milford can be pretty intimidating when the wind blows...great lake though.
FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!
