New Yum F2 2 in Beaver Tails
Anyone buy any off these yet. Loved the old ones but was not too excited about the colors but the new ones have better looking color combos IMO. So I ordered a bunch of the new ones from Crappie Pro and received them in the mail today and while the colors look great the actual baits themselves are mostly crooked looking or the tails are folded over and they certainly are not straight looking, don't remember having this problem with the old ones. Don't know if they stuffed too many in the small zip lock bags or what but the majority of the baits are imperfect. Anybody have this problem and is there a way to straigten them out without sending the order back. Very upsetting as if my baits don't look straight and hang right it blows my confidence right from the get go and confidence is the whole game with plastics for me.
Also ordered a bunch of Bobby Garland 3 in. slabslayers from a company online called called PS Fish for $2.89 a pack. Another bait I have been using this year and like is the Bass Pro Shops Magnum squirts which are a good size tube with a bigger profile, great baits they are listed at 2 1/4 inch but actually measure 2 1/2 inch and are much wider than you standard 2 inch tubes. 15 to a pack for $2.49. Anyone else have any bigger crappie plastics they would like to share, I'm all ears. Would like to try some 3 in wasshoppahs but at $4.56 a 10 pack or $21.00 for a 50 pack, No Thanks.

I got some of the new beavertails in the summer. I haven't had that problem in the few pks I opened, but didn't open all to look at em. I am sure Larry we exchange em out for ya.
They also have a new big tube like the BP ones you have. I have had a lot of luck with chapman creek tubes in the 1.75 & 2.50. I also have a lot of luck this time of year on Yum Walleye grubs when strolling.

Steveinsene,
Larry Russell (Crappie Pro Owner) will be calling you today. By the way, the 3" wasshoppahs are the only way to go. IMO.

steveinsene, don't let the imperfections get into your head, it imparts a different action to the bait. And I agree with Shane the big wasshoppas are killer! No comment on the BG stuff.

Thanks for the replies fellas, Larry from Crappie Pro called me promptly after hearing from Shane I suspect, my troubles, seems like a great guy and was willing to do anything to make it right, he recommended taking them out of the package to sit awhile. Said they are in a smaller bag than the old ones at the request of retailers and are more squished together causing some to be misshapen. I decided just to keep them and use them.
