Guys...I know I've had plenty of time and posts on the regular forum about our tourney last weekend...but I just got word about something relating to the tourney that I can't help telling you about.....we received a letter wed. from a lady who came out to the fish fry sat nite, and she was very reluctant to do it, as she doesn't like to go places alone...she was affiliated in no way with our congregation......she said a couple of the FISHERMEN sat with her at her table and made her feel so welcome and a part of everything....she wrote that they even got up and got her dessert for her:D:D.....she stated how impressed she was that our little group was really trying to reach out in the community (we fed approx 50 people from the adjoining trailer park for free just 2 nights before the fish-fry).....anyway she gave us a check for $500.00Hands ClappingHands Clapping....I was hoping to make $500 TOTAL, after expenses, and actually we made about $600.00Hands ClappingHands Clapping......this donation DOUBLED our fundraising effortsThumbs UpThumbs Up.....I thank you all very much....your friend...HUntcapn (look back at the original thread ...towards the end....if you missed the pictures I posted)
