Default Take a Kid Fishing, White Bass are on FIRE!

I had the honor of taking my sister and nephew out fishing Friday afternoon for short while. All I can say is the white bass have been on fire at HD the last week. Load up the kids and go. Double and Quads where very common. We where catching whites as fast as we could get lines back in the water. I have a full report on the outdoorsman but a great day on the water. Name: Sept 067.jpg

Nick I think it's on everywhere. My 6 yr old was begging to go out this afternoon so we headed out to Clinton. We started after the crappie, but about 30 min in , only 2 dinks and him getting hung in the brush I could see I needed to change.

So we headed in the Marina cove and good lord there are millions of shad in there. Immediately pulled up on a school of them busting shad. I think he boated 15 or so and had a couple break off. He was plum worn out. They were smashing those roadrunners like crazy. A great couple hrs, with a very happy son. Doesn't get any better.
