    Default Perry 7/22 catfish

Went out last night on my 1st catfishin trip of the year. Got to the lake about 8:30 pm, Couldn't find much shad schoolin on top. The ones I did catch were too small to stay in the cast net. Checked several places w/no results. Didn't matter anyway there was no wind & the bugs were unbelievable. About 10:00 I said screw thisDoh & took off out of a cove right thru a big school of shad, stopped & threw a couple times & had all the shad I needed. Then a nice south breeze came up.Thumbs Up What a turn around. Made 2 drifts, stayed till midnight. Caught 15, kept 6. 4.5lbs to 8 lbs 9oz. It's amazing even after dark, how you can feel the heat off the rocks when you get close. The water temp was 89.2.
Don't lie, There's less you have to remember

I do love that night fishing too.
I've not masterd the throw net, but we have plenty of small fish on the surface at night.
    My turn's coming!
I just wish I could be better at fishing. Or maybe luckier!:D

Nice fish, and thanks for the report. Sounds like a lot of fun. That's been the only kind of fishing I've been doing lately. It's a nice getaway from the midday heat
