I'll be down at the strip pits around Pittsburg this weekend with a bunch of fly fishin goof balls. I'll be in a tan malibu if ya come find us.

Let us all know how the fishing is. I've never made it down that way but have wanted to fish the strip pits for years.

Wow, what a time! That's a very cool area, especially if you have a canoe, kayak, or a boat you can throw in the back of a truck. You could fish it for a month and not get to all of the pits.

We cleaned more fish than we could eat yesterday! Mostly bluegills and hybrids with a few green sunfish thrown in, as well as two catfish.
