Pomona for Wipers and White Bass?

Forgive, forgive... this post ain't about Crappie. Too DANG HOT/I'm not patient enough in this heat, to fish for those tasty fish. My buddy and I were looking to hit Pomona this Saturday, hopefully finding the Wipers/White Bass either busting shad on the surface OR trolling a crank. Anybody had any luck the past couple of days?

As Brad Paisley said in "Catch All The Fish"... I filled up two shopping carts, one full of fishing gear, the other full of beer...

I have not been out for a while and while but we were doing really well on both of the Wolf Creek arm "humps" in about 12-15 feet of water on white bombers. Had the best luck trolling over the humps at around 3.0 to 3.8 mph.
