Default Is this a feasible jig design???

I have been working on making my crochet/weave a little easier and have come up with a basic jig base design for the body shape. My only problems I I don't even know if it is feasible. It wold be a 2 part pour for the body and head which makes it a little more complicated but the slots make it hard.

I know some make molds but would like anyone with a thought on how feasible this idea is to give their input on the design.

The basic idea is to make the body using either metal or hard rubber like in an injection mold and have a lead/metal head on it. The material I use is round and would fit in the grooves in the body. The space is important for tying off the material and for adding a collar of some sort. This is what makes it so "difficult"; in concept anyway. It wouldn't matter if the body was metal or not but it has to be tough to hold it's shape under the weave/crochet. I actually think that both would be useful for different species and designs. A rubber body though would lend itself to a very see through body like the material I use for making a lot of my jigs.

Give me your thoughts please, I need to know if it is:
    1 feasible to make
2 would make a descent jig at all
3 if a 2 part pour is even possible with metal and rubber.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

Just my thoughts here, but the more difficult it is and the longer and harder it is to make the work put in for the return on sales may be hard to make it worth doing. I am a little unclear as to what you are trying to do so I may be off base completely. However I still feel simple and neat good tie is best and then easier to make them fast enough to be able to sell at a reasonable price?

I just feel the more you have to put into cost to make and time to make needs to be in line with reasonable price in the end.

I'm not looking to sell these. Way too much work to even consider selling. I want these for my own fishing, especially for other species. They will work for some crappie style jigs but this is more for steelhead and salmon type jigs.

I go through enough of them providing jigs for friends I fish with. I would never be able to get the price I need for them just from the materials selling them for crappie. Steelhead yah, $3-$4 is nothing for a good jig for them.

The slots are for the Body stuff and Larva Lace from Hagen's. It will make it so that the lace can be tied in and not have lumps in the design. Just something to make my overly complicated fancy dancy why in the hell am I doing this jigs a little easier.
