hackle jigs 1st

Here is my first hackle jigs.I had cheap hackle also.
The pic are not very clear.
1/16 head(Daves PP silver w/pink dusted on),calf tail,Grubs chenelle(forgot color),cheap hackle.

Look like hackle jigs for sure. Should catch something with them. The hackle is long but who cares, never know when the longer stuff will trigger the bite.

Lookin good! I have had some good luck with gills on those, mostly darker stuff cause I didn't have anything but cheapy brown hackle for dry flies.

Not bad at all and feel sure you will catch fish with them.

As stated above, kind of long hackle and my question about that is are you using Neck Hackle for that or is it just wide Saddle Hackle?

Skip,Its just a hackle pad I got at the craft store.I think its neck.
