Default Much about nothing... and a walleye!

The weather and the schedule finally cleared up for my camping trip last weekend. Crawford State Park in Kansas is the destination. Caught a 22" walleye on 1/64 oz. shellcracker swap jig and UL rod. What FUN! Also some other cool pictures from the lake. That bird caught more fish than I did! Wife and child in paddleboat flanking the goose family. Summer has arrived!!:D

Nice fish and nice pics. Herons always out fish us here too. But love to watch them.

I am curious though, is it a Walleye or a Sauger? I honestly have never seen either alive but from pics I have seen I was just curious.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

Your right, is a walleye. Guess I need to go out and get a few. lol.

But it does show that anything will hit our crappie jigs which makes it nice. And light gear is even more fun.

Walleyes have a white patch on the bottom of their tail, Saugers don't.
My lake here, the saugers have really come on strong, many bigger than the
    walleye!!
