Default Looking for opinions on two color tails

Please give me your opinions on if the crappie will like a two color tail over a single color.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------
I have had great luck with the Silver/Fl Yellow/Blue, but just wanted to see what it would look like with a two color tail. So here is one to see if anyone likes it better like this..

Then this one with two color tail...

Or like this with red Holo Flash...

Then the Green & Yellow Super Bug changed to a rabbit tail..

Same jig the way I put it in my assortments to compare with the above one...

Thanks for looking and appreciate any feed back I get too!

First of all Skip those are great pictures to capture detail of the jigs.I really like the first picture and the last.I also think the two color tails add something to the jig.I guess it would be tail color contrasting with head and body. Great jigs!

    Skip,

I'm not sure if the craps like a two-tone tail over a single color tail, but I have done very well with the chartreuse and white tail and the chartreuse and pink tailed jigs in the photo.

"Mister, I love the way you wear that hat."
    "You don't know nothin'."

I like two or more colors in the tail,it definitely adds to the baits attracting quality.A little flash in the tail, not a lot will defintely trigger more fish than a single color tail. Nice jigs,Skip. Excellent job with the camera.

I think the second one will have a more productive effect as far as using 2 colors. The two really contrast well and might be just right to trigger fish that might not hit just one of those colors on a jig.

I think combos like red/blue, orange/green, pink/yellow and similar combos would be the best for having any kind of noticeable effects, especially in different water clarity conditions.

I know that red and black are used here a lot as well as pink and green on the same jig tail. They seem to work better in a lot more situations and depths than a single color tail does. Could be that one is seen better at shallow depths and another at deeper but it works here. Can't see why it wouldn't work for crappie and give a more universal jig to use both shallow and deep, as well as stained and clear water.

What size hook and head is that? Looks a little different from the usual ones I see on here.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

    First thank you all!
Fish 4 all, I was just getting ready to add some summer jigs to my box and these are 1/4 oz. I use them a lot in the summer and night fishing. I have been ask a couple times about the head and I would have said something, but just didn't think about it at all, LOL!

I tie a lot of 1/32 & 1/16 with 1/8 next, but I use all of them at different times and conditions.

    Thanks again guys!
