    Default Painted my 1st jigs

I got my unpainted jigs in the mail last night, and today I painted my 1st jigs. I had them done in 1/24 and 1/32 with size 1 red sickle hook. These are flourescent orange and chartreuse yellow... now all I gotta do is learn to tie.

Yes sir, bought an embossing heat gun today at the hobby store and the powder paint from BPS. Not a bad little set up, works like a charm.

I like your paint job. Did you request the small heads with the larger hooks? They look out of proportion to me. You can get powder paint much cheaper than at BPS. I'm a Big 12 Fan but I'll send you a PM anyway!

Yeah I requested the 1/24 and 1/32 to be poured with #1 red sickle hooks. Everywhere I go the biggest hook I see on a 1/32 oz jighead is around a #4, maybe a bit smaller, these over sized hooks have helped me cut down the number of lost fish.

I know they look weird with the bigger hook but with some of the beefier plastic bodies out there you need a bit bigger hook. I pour mine like that too.

1/16th on a size 2 and the 1/32 on a size 4. They seem to work so no big deal.

and yeah TNT I agree with you BPS is way expensive on powder. I get mine at Jann's and you get a bit of a break with buying multiple bottles. I saw on ChuckandDebs where they offer 1 ounce of powder for like $2.50 or so. Doesn't seem like enough for dipping heads

They look good LSU, now just tie some marabou near the back and wrap some chenille to the head and you'll be whackin' em
