Default Glow sticks, where to get

I am trying to find glow sticks from a US company that are under 1.5 inches long. Diameter doesn't matter but I want them shorter for fishing trout and panfish. 1.5 inch is just too long for some thing I want to do. I have seen them before from 1/2 to 3/4 inch but only once in a great while and then only last years half dead run.

Anyone have a source to get them? I find tons of companies in China that sell them and I would bet they are all made there, but I don't want to order 1000's of them. A hundred maybe but not a wholesale quantity.

I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

Which ones do you get, brand name? I find a lot but I have dealt with some that are junk and not very bright. Not to mention they don't work after sitting around for 4 months.

Sounds like the better ones are sold for fishing for a reason. I have bought the cylum ones from Wal-Mart and they are by far the best so I guess those are the ones to get, or at least a quality brand and not the novelty ones.

Anyone seen ones the same shape as the ones I pictured?

Was at wally-wacko mart and saw some on the shelf with their web address. They only had sets that had 1 glow torch and a bunch of holders.

They are Rod-N-Bobb's and called the torch. Looks like you can buy them from their site @ a buck a pop - $3.97 for a 4 Pack. I use the beacons on my floats and rod tips. They have alot of other stuff on their site I never knew they had. Thanks... now I will probably have to make me up an order! :p:D - AtticaFish

I have found 2 sizes doing a search but no pricing from China suppliers. I don't know why they are not made here. At least I have not found a US made light stick for fishing.

Oh well, guess I don't need the bulb/torch ones. I have found a lot of smaller ones, 1.5 inches and 1 inch so they will work. Just have to find the better quality ones and get them. Should work well for a lot of fishing here once I have them small enough.
