I have never used any of these and just got a few 1/32 & 1/16 to see what they can do. I just want to ask what kind of tail do you that use these have?
Hackle tail or marabou?
I have also thought about using some Mylar tubing to make it look more like a minnow; so any of you use one like that?
Any other good ideas or tips you know I would appreciate if you share that info with me.

If you figure out the mylar please let me know. I can't get a descent body without putting beads under it. I know I will use the ones I did get to look descent though and I think they will work well.
If I could figure out how to wrap it over the jig head and make it stay and look right I would. They all suck but the beads worked well on the ones without the jig heads so I don't see why they wouldn't with the jig head.
I would use both marabou and hackle for the tails. Maybe even tie in a couple hackle up and down so it gives the look of a true tail.
I will try to make some up on minnow heads to see how they work out.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.
Again They remind me of the Lindy joe's jigs"I would think a lil spun silicone or living rubber at the head and or tail may add some Flirtatious appeal to your jig Skip":D Check out my silicone post for the idea i have for you...?
grubs"
"WELL"...YOU ASKED"NOBODY TELLS ME NOTH'N!!!
Still not pretty but they should still work. This is done on a #4 sickle I think with 2 regular pony beads underneath to give it shape.

Here's 2 I made with floss and bucktail this winter. They've been doing well with some river smallmouth, they cut into the current better and get me down to the bottom so I can hang it up and break it off on the rocks. But thats where the fish are.
I do like the profile better that round head also.
Yet to have caught a crappie for the year on anything - live or fake!!! Once we get some warm nights and the water temps go up........
