Saddle hackle wrp over antron

Anyone try to wrap saddle hackle over crystal antron?? Or Am I better with regular chenille for wrapping the hackle over. I wonder if the antron is to dense and thick for the the hackle to look right and sink into it

Just follow the wraps with the hackle. If needed, wrap it slightly looser so that you can see the lines from the wrap.

I would have thought you looked at my web site better than that, LOL! Here is one I tied a couple years back that is on my home page. The pic could be better for sure, but this was hackle over CA. I really should do it again for a pic since this was like my first one ever and would do it better now. Experience pays off in better looking work.

Try the wrap over Chartreuse Metallique"if you get a chance"
or any of the metallique colors"Super look":D
