    Default Sticky body jigs

These are from the same guy Slab posted pics for and I got a few of the bodies to try them. Have not been able to fish them yet as we have this lake wind warning almost ever day. Anyway here is one of my first of these to try.

I seem to have trouble with anything large in head size, but they do look good.

Find Slabs post and I am sure he gave the user name of Bob and you can PM him.

The body is hollow, it is pretty easy for me on small jig heads. They are not cheap at all though. I was trying to tie one a bit bigger and it tore some at the head so it comes too far on the head, but I don't think the fish will care about that.

Bob sent me some jigs to try out just like the one you have pictured Skip. I like the look but they feel soft on the jig and slide around. I have not fished them yet so no comment. Might need a shot of glue. $1.50 each with no shipping charge. Bob's Jigs ( [email protected]) 541-893-6015

I have not got to fish them yet either, but I see some good things about these as some not so good things. I don't know how well they will hold up either. They do glue on at the head and he glues them at the other end too, but I don't because I didn't like putting all that glue where I tie in my tail. All I know at this point is about putting the body on a jig head and in some ways it is easy and some it is not so easy. I pulled the body up on the head like Bob said to tie in a tail, but on a 1/16oz head the body split a little making that end a bit big and then to glue it the body had to half way cover the head.

So we will see, but they really need to hold up well as they are not cheap. Then I am not so sure they will make a better fish catching jig than our chenille jigs. I am not sure much can be done new to a jig that will make a better jig than just a regular chenille jig and hold up as well at the same time.
