Had half his order in bream jig and half in crappie, but this is just the bream. I think they will do well for him, how about you guys?

Oh and all of them are 1/32 # 8 regular bend hooks so pretty small.

Really like the orange ones in the upper left and the brown in the lower right. All of them look good.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

For Bluegill, out here in So Cal, the tails are kind of long - invites short strikes.

    Hey everybody,
I just received my first order of jigs from Skip last week. They look real good - anxious to try tem. I must say he was very helpful and the service was great. Thanks Skip.

Most of them have marabou and easy to pull a little off if one wants to, but if short you can't add any. They may shorter than you think since these are on a #8 regular bend hook.

I know the bigger gills I go after here would not have any trouble getting these in their mouths. I get hits trolling for crappie and catch a few at times and using a much larger jig than these.

After saying that there are a few of them I may pinch a little off and a few I know that I would, but not before I had that trouble. Most should be fine.

I caught a lot of bluegill last year on jigs much like these.

I do thank you for the opinion and will think of that on my next ones, but I don't get a lot of bluegill orders. I do like catch them big ones though as they are a load of fun.

Came back to edit this, I just got in some kip tails in really good bream colors and I think they would have been good to use in place of some of the marabou. Not as easy to trim after the fact, but short to start with. I guess I just hate trimming marabou as much as it is needed to tie bream jigs. I mean when you have to cut off 80% of your feathers it is not something I enjoy, LOL!
