Joined the bad husband ranks

Well I joined the ranks of irritating the spouse today LOL. Ordered 6000 jig hooks and $80 worth of powder paint.

After you paint them DO NOT use your wife's wire cooling racks to hang them on. They work great, but one paint drip and you are history!

Use this tip very sparingly and NEVER if wife is bigger than you. When they question the amount you are spending. Calmly walk to her closet where she keeps her shoes. Open it up and say " with only 2 feet how in the he** and why do you need so many shoes ?".


This works with any woman as every woman I know has more shoes than I got fishing poles. I got enough fishing poles to open up a tackle shop. A well stocked one at that.
Yet my wifes shoe collection outnumbers anything I got. She got shoes that she has only worn once. One pair to daughters wedding cause they matched her dress EXACTLY.
Been in the closet since and that was 20+ years ago.

Actually this works to my benefit. She asks " why don't you sell some of this stuff "while poking around MY garage. Off to the closet I go and ask her " why don't you sell some of these" . This happens around a every 4 month cycle. I still got all my rods and she still got all her shoes.

Well I guess I'm safe cause all she said was "It's your money from the VA you can spend it on what you want", I don't always blow it most of the time it helps with the bills or groceries so I guess every once in a while it's okay to spend it.
