    Default Tubes vs. Tied Jigs?

    Posted today:
"Use crappie Tubes you don't have to worry about tying jigs. They work great. You can get them in different colors. Red head white body for example. Good color 1-1/2inch."

    Tied jigs work better IMO.

Hair and feathers have better action but don't have the lifelike feel of a tube.

    They each have their place.

Like them both (pastic and ties), favor ties.. Like curly tails also.

Let the fish decide.I carry and use both although I prefer the hand ties .They have better action and are more durable.I've caught over 300 fish on a jig I made before I retired it.It's pretty chewed up but if I tied it to my line now it would catch fish. How many can you catch on a tube,10?
