Do eyes on a jig really make a difference in the bite?

I believe that eyes make a big difference on jigs.I paint eyes on all my jigs. Baitfish have eyes so I want my jigs as reallistic as possible.

I think it can in clear water, and in the winter when you got clear water and a slow bite.

Some say yes some say no but I've got a 1/2 and 1/2 split just in case LOL. The fish always make liars out of us anyways.

I have used rounded unpainted, plain jig heads and then jig heads that are unpainted but shaped like a minnow head with little bumps for eyes and I am sure the later catch many more fish.
