I would go with something in the red spectrum...... light orange to deep red, something in there

in the water that is. I was told this week by someone that should know this color is the one that is seen best of all.
Now I would love to have some idea's from you guys as to what color chenille and head do you think will go well with Turquoise. I can't wait to try this color on the crappie and I bet they don't see this often.

"Mister, I love the way you wear that hat."
"You don't know nothin'."
Aquamarine head with a metallic or neon blue thread.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.
Blue
Green holds it's color the best in deep water....red is the first to go after a depth of twelve feet or so. Now, if you are fishing at ten feet or so....and you want distal visability, use the brighter and hotter colors, chartreuse, yellow, white, orange...those that reflect a lot of light. Going deeper, work toward the greens.

I'm gonna have to go with two different ideas here cause the head color you show kinda leans towards two
Light or Medium Blue chenille body and a mix of light blue and red tail feathers, the blue to go with the overall and red to mimic blood
chartreuse or green chartreuse chenille body but either one. And for the feather tail blue and orange mottled, almost like the color on a dyed flourescent bucktail but where some of the slightly darker hair mix's in.
Just my 2cents
