I have found a good price on it and I want to know if it is actually worth buying it. I hope that someone has used both Larva Lace and jelly cord to compare but I will take what I can get as far as recommendations. I know the price I found beats Larva Lace price hands down and will allow me to tie a lot of jigs and flies for a lot less.
Is it worth it as far ability to use for tying or is it too soft?
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

Being a fly tyer I've tried both and the larva lace is stronger. You can get the jelly cord cheaper at JoAnn's Fabrics and it comes in alot of colors. For jigs use the jelly as you can stretch it a little to fit on the smaller jigs.

Well the price I found beats Joanns hands down but I didn't want to order it if it doesn't work. My crochet is hard to do but having a cord that stretches a little more might be a good thing. Sometimes Larva Lace can leave gaps because it is too rigid.

I make my own glow jigs and from my little experience using them I found that they work at least as good during the day. My customers have used them more than I have I am sure. My biggest one came during the day one morning and I was not even holding my rod as it was in a rod holder. I was trying to show my fishing partner a knot and my rod doubled over with a little over 17" crappie.
