You that buy the 5 yard cards know many times it has been with Bass Pro or who ever for a while and they wrap it on tight. Well that is great, but it will crush it and even time will crush it on it's own. Even some skeins you buy may have been at that shop for too long and get ugly crushed and twisted.
Now you have to be careful not to over do it and ruin it, but you can steam it over a pot of water and it will fluff it up again and make it a lot easier to look good. Just take a piece maybe a few feet at a time and when the pot of water begins to boil hold it with one end in each hand and pull it from one side to another and you will see it start to untwist and fluff.

Hmm, may have to try that. I always ran mine through a soft cotton hair towel or one of those ubber absorbant towels to fluff it up. The towel and the static seem to work well for me. But I don't have alot of small chenille, this is what I do for larger stuff.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.
Ah Skip the old tea kettle trip, truthfully I never used it on chenille but I have used it on Peacock Herl.
